We believe that children should have a safe, secure environment that fosters their development in all four areas of child development. We believe we should provide a stimulating, learning program that will challenge children to reach their full potential and develop the self-confidence needed to successfully complete the elementary years ahead of them.

We believe children should have successful completion of tasks by providing adult support and encouragement. Children should be respected and given real-life experiences that are relevant to the child with adult care and guidance to support each child.

We believe that parents should play an important part in the center's activities and program. Parents should be provided ample opportunities to participate with their children in the center and provide input in the center's educational program. Teachers should always respect the families' beliefs and values and include classroom activities that are multicultural, nonsexist and diverse reflecting the society around us.

We believe that developmentally appropriate activities should be provided for all age groups and that teacher-child ratios be sufficiently low enough to provide individualized attention. We also support teacher training and education in the early childhood field and believe that well-trained, experienced teachers are essential to the child's successful development.

Our philosophy can be summed up in the belief that children learn most effectively through a concrete, play oriented approach to early childhood education.
